Willi has been living in a construction trailer somewhere in the province of Lower Saxony for a few years now, pursuing his retirement. - A preoccupation with age and outsiderness and a question about identity and whether we are not simply a conglomeration of reactions to the history that happens to us all collectively. Whether individuality is simply in the choice of which reaction to an incident we choose. Being an outsider here perhaps means a perspective with distance, perhaps freedom. - To be happy in exile, on the edge with a horizon. At least in Willi's case.
