Accreditations

Guidelines for Accreditation

Accreditation is exclusively granted for the purpose of journalistic reporting and for professional visitors. Furthermore, the International Filmfest Braunschweig e.V., located at Neue Straße 8, 38100 Braunschweig (hereinafter referred to as the "Association"), reserves the right to further verify proof of journalistic activity, professional visitor status, or educational or service records. There is no inherent right to accreditation in any of the accreditation categories.

A. Accreditation Requirements

Accreditation requests are processed only within the official application period. Deadlines will be published on the Braunschweig International Film Festival's website. Submitting an application does not guarantee accreditation. The organizer reserves the right to accept or reject an application. Press accreditation is provided free of charge.

B. Press Accreditation

A press accreditation can be obtained by those who can demonstrate their journalistic activity in the following ways:

1) By submitting name articles that are not older than six months at the time of the event.

2) By submitting an imprint that names you as an editor, permanent editorial staff, or author and is not older than three months at the time of the event.

3) By providing a weblink to an online publication that is established within the respective industry community and can demonstrate a reasonable reach. In individual cases, there may be separate, more detailed accreditation rules for bloggers and a separate status for bloggers.

4) Holders of a valid press card from a national or international journalists' association.

Please note that the sole submission of a press card is not automatically sufficient for accreditation. The association reserves the right to request further evidence to verify the journalistic activity according to points 1-4.

Furthermore, the association reserves the right, in individual cases, to additionally request the submission of a personal document with a photograph.
