Hirayama earns his living cleaning public toilets. Routine and passion accompany him throughout the day in all his actions. During his breaks, he captures the world with his camera: trees cast shadows. Cassettes play old American songs for him. The next day, the sun will rise again. It will be another beautiful day, worth living in its routines and little things to discover. Those who clean city toilets have learned to look away, to ignore, to forget. This is not the case for Hirayama. He finds happiness in life every day in small instances. Now is now.
