It is a wonderful summer's day. Karlchen the rabbit is looking forward to his fifth birthday and the big celebration with all his friends and lots of carrot cake. But Karlchen's little sister falls ill and his parents have to take her to the doctor. So the birthday party has to be postponed. Disappointed, Karlchen decides to walk to his grandma's house. But the way is long and which way was it again exactly? An adventurous journey through the forest begins and Karlchen has to rely on his courage and cleverness.
