As a young adult, Chiara decides to live with her husband on a French Atlantic island. Now 19 years have passed, during which the two of them have worked hard to operate their own fishing boat. On the island, Chiara feels integrated into the tight-knit community. When the couple takes in Maxence, who is half their age, for an apprenticeship, a liaison begins between Chiara and Maxence that does not go unnoticed by the island community. In the story told from Chiara's perspective, Cécile de France lends her role charismatic and sympathetic nuances that enable the problems on the island to be perceived.

Director's Biography:Héloîse Pelloquet specialised in film editing during her studies at La Fémis. She has been working in this field since 2013, especially for French films. As a director she made three short films, WILD SEAS is her feature film debut.
