A somewhat feeble year-repeater enters a new class at school. It is hard at the beginning - at least until he gets to know one of the "cool guys" from his class. Together they discover heavy metal, romanticise about girls, don't give a damn about grown-ups, cut their childhood cords, become close friends and attend their first big Sepultura concert. The adventure of adolescence - the time of soaring jubilation and deep sorrow - has seldom been told more personally than in this film. Even though the two metalheads barely change their expressions: one day, when time fades into history, they will remember an exciting, eventful youth. Roots Bloody Roots.

Director's Biography:Cartoonist Juanjo Sáez works for newspapers, has published graphic novels and devotes himself to the moving image with numerous ideas. Joan Tomás, the film's director, has his own YouTube channel, so he's very close to humor. He sometimes lends his own voice to his characters.
