Contemporary dancer Elena teaches a deaf class. Here she meets sign-language interpreter Dovydas and they fall in love. As they embark on a new relationship, they have to work out how to build their own kind of intimacy, because Dovydas comes out as asexual. He feels no sexual attraction to other people, regardless of gender. In powerful images and at a sensitive pace, the film shows the two lovers on their search for happiness and satisfaction between jealousy and insecurity, social prejudices and expectations, physical needs and romantic, sensual attraction.
