Delphine, does not want to take over her parents' farm. She goes to Paris and becomes part of a group of female activists. During lively discussions, Delphine meets the love of her life, Carole, played by Cécile de France. Then, however, her parents contact her and ask her to come home. Her father is ill and help is needed to run the farm. Carole spontaneously goes with her. Whereas in Paris they had freely discussed equality and the recognition of lesbian love, in the countryside of the 1970s they encounter moral concepts that are less open. A relaxed film full of joie de vivre, love and reminiscences of the pioneers of lesbianism.

Director's Biography:Catherine Corsini writes the scripts for all the films she directs herself. In addition to thrillers, comedies, fictional love stories and adaptations of novels, she has also directed an autobiographical work, LA BELLE SAISON.
