NOSFERATU is considered the classic scary film par excellence. Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau's groundbreaking but unauthorised adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula tells the story of Count Orlok, a vampire from the Carpathians who falls in love with the beautiful Ellen and brings terror to the town of Wisborg. The Metropolis Orchestra Berlin, Germany's first cinema orchestra of the 21st century, will perform the original NOSFERATU music by Hans Erdmann from 1922 under the direction of its founder Burkhard Götze. Martin Weller will give an introduction to the film concert at 7:15 pm.
