The president of a "Help for Africa" association faces trouble as one day Africa shows up st his own doorstep. At night on the internet he flirts with pretty black ladies but in real life? YAM DAM presents this confrontation as a test in everyday life of our Euro-liberal society. Critically and precise the film observes how the protagonist gets caught in his contradictions and reminds the viewer od the Dardenne brothers By the way, we also get to learn what YAM DAM means...

Vivian Goffette
After an education at the INSAS in Bruxelles he works as a script writer and assistnant to director and shots his own short films. LA CARTE POSTALE wins numerous awards and an Oscar nomination. He also teaches at the INSAS, in Namur and Luxemburg. YAM DAM is his feature debute.
