A rather crazy idea gives rise to a unique musical project that inspires and captivates: To convince the Foo Fighters to play a gig in their hometown of Cesena, a group of friends drums up people from all over Italy with a lot of dedication, professionalism and heart and soul, and puts together a band of 1000 totally different members: Rockin'1000, the biggest Rock Band on Earth. Full of verve, they all record a tribute song together for a video... A musician's quote: "If paradise exists, this is how I imagine it". A documentary full of joie de vivre that is a lot of fun. Director's Biography:Screenwriter and director, lives in Rome. After a short film and TV work, WE ARE THE THOUSAND is her first (music) documentary. As a member of the group of friends who initiated the unique creative project, she was there right from the start.
