Back then they were best friends and stirred up Berlin's artistic and nightlife scene: Director Maria, young actress Laura and DJ Jan. Now years have passed and the three meet again on the farm in the Black Forest where Laura and Jan retreated for their dream of country life. All that remains of their former dreams is the unglamorous reality. Life plans have burst, old scores are still open. Hanna Doose stages her film in improvisation mode, giving the actors, among them the renowned Bibiana Beglau from Braunschweig, room to shape the role themselves. Ten years after her debut STAUB AUF UNSEREN HERZEN, the BIFF presents her new work.

Director's Biography:Born in Cologne in 1979, Hanna Doose studied at the European Film College in Denmark from 1999 to 2000. She lives in Berlin. In 2012 she completed her directing studies at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. Her short films have received numerous awards.
