Danko Babic is a doctor at a women's clinic. He has no scruples, his career is booming and he maintains ties to the police and to the drug- and prostitution scene. Illegal abortions for prostitutes are part of his day-to-day business. When a colleague is promoted to Head of the clinic, Babic begins to lose control. He makes fatal mistakes, a woman dies. Still he manages to become chief of medicine with the help of corrupt cohorts. Now he wants to cut all ties to the underworld. However, his "friends" ask him for one last favor...

Branko Schmidt
Born 1957 , he first studied economics in Zagreb, then he graduated in film and tv at the Academy for Dramatic Arts. Several tv serials and awarded feature films.VEGETARIAN CANNIBAL won five Golden Arenas at the Pula Film Festival.
