Judith, Katharina and Benjamin travel to Cuba to deliver a message from their father to Wanja, Katharina's missing brother. While Judith is reserved and respectful towards the locals and Benjamin takes over the management of the travel fund, Katharina tests the limits of love for sale with daddy's money. The hoped-for adventure holiday in the supposed tropical paradise turns into a road trip during which they are repeatedly confronted with the poverty of the people. The journey is accompanied by disappointment, rejection and jealousy. With video diaries, the three record their impressions, which are mixed with classic film camera perspective.

Director's Biography:Bettina Blümner was born in Düsseldorf in 1975 and studied media culture and design in Weimar (Bauhaus University) in 1998/99, followed by directing studies at the Film Academy Ludwigsburg until 2004. She has been a professor at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences since 2018.
