The seemingly stable marriage of photographer Anna and psychologist Fillip is thrown off balance by the sudden appearance of Maya, the daughter of long-time friends of the couple. Through her direct manner, the lively 17-year-old brings painful secrets to light.

The gentle character drama provides insights into the human psyche. In her debut film, director Eleonora Veninova processes experiences from her own relationships: "I realise that there was a gap in communication and many unspoken things that accumulated and ended up erupting. There are still things we do not say because we fear that we will not be accepted."

Director's Biography:Northern Macedonian director and writer Eleonora Veninova studied at California State University Northridge and made her feature debut THINGS UNSAID after several internationally awarded short films and TV series.
