Teenager Lyoshka lives in one of the easternmost and most remote Russian settlements on the tundra. It is only a few kilometres across the Bering Strait to Alaska. The sun rarely shines and the only work is whaling. It is clear that almost only men live in this harsh area for the sake of work. Only the new internet connection provides a change of pace and his first contact with women. Lyoshka falls for the fictional character HollySweet999 from Detroit – and does everything to get to know her personally. A film about youth and the adventure of first love, clumsy attempts to get to know each other, jealousies and the longing to escape. Experienced by the courageous Lyoshka on the other side of the world.
Director's Biography:First film about melon explosions for chemistry lessons. Later he studied at the Gerassimov Institute, today he works as a scriptwriter and director. He remains true to his naturalness from the melon film: he abhors anamorphic processes.
