Yugoslavia, late 1980s. Christmas is just around the corner with all its rituals and traditions. A family hastily makes final preparations for Christmas dinner, because their beloved uncle, who lives in Germany, will be arriving at any moment. Everything must be ready by then. But wait a minute, are things really as they seem?! Situated between grotesque and nightmarish thriller, this ingenious film breaks with viewing habits and expectations. Christmas has never been more abysmal - if the calendar is really showing December.
