During the Kosovo war in 1999, Belgrade came under fire from Nato. Nightly bomb alarms and threatening destruction were commonplace. Whoever perseveres in the city looks for stability in his own world. Theatre actor Ana concentrates on her theatre premiere, television repairman Sloba works on conscientiously and his young colleague Bojan takes refuge in excessive partying. But the persistent state of emergency gradually takes its toll ...
