Sicily 1965: Lia is a bright but shy young woman. She prefers working in the fields with her father to helping her mother in the household. The son of the local businessman is fascinated by her. Director's Biography:Marta Savina was born in Florence in 1986. She lived abroad for more than 10 years, including London and Los Angeles, where she studied directing. THE GIRL FROM TOMORROW is her first feature film, which, like her short films before, is about women's rights.
