Director's Biography:Noémie Merlant (*1988) is a French actress, writer and director best known for her roles in HEAVEN WILL WAIT (2016), PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE (2019) and TÁR (2022). THE BALCONETTES is her second feature film as a director.
