Lorenzo Bianchini is known for his horror films - this film is not one of them. Sensitively and intensively, the camera accompanies old Pietro (wonderfully played by Pierre Richard), who is supposed to move out of his apartment. His last resort is a tiny chamber at the end of the corridor, separated by a wall. Thus hidden, he observes the lives of the new residents through small peepholes in the wall and becomes a silent partner in their lives. Pietro feels hunted...by reality or by his memories? Ghosts of the past emerge and stir up old fears. A story about a man who cannot bear the burden of a dramatic event and is trapped in his apartment.
