Director's Biography:Edward Robles is a Creative Director and filmmaker born and raised in Chicago, USA. In 2013 he was shortlisted for the Emerging Filmmaker Award by the Chicago Film Critics association. In 2015 he wrote and directed Trust, a short film featured as a Vimeo Staff Pick, as well as one of High Times magazine’s “top five things to watch when you’re high.”In 2017 he created, wrote, and directed DISPATCH, a VR narrative, which received overwhelming acclaim for its innovation, and is touted as one of the best VR narratives to date. The four-part VR experience premiered at the 2017 La Biennale di Venezia Film Festival and the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and won a Gold Lion at Cannes 2018. It is now released on the Oculus platform.Edward is currently a Creative Director at Nexus Studios, Los Angeles, overseeing cutting-edge filmic & experiential content. He is managed by Kate Sharp at Bellevue Productions and represented by Verve.
