What would you do if someone important in your life had decided to die? Leon is forced to ask himself this question. Growing up in a rather deprived neighbourhood in Dublin, he slid into the drug scene. Iver, his mentor and fatherly friend, helped him overcome his addiction. Now Iver is terminally ill and has decided to end his life prematurely. But Leon, who cannot accept this, persuades his best friend to go on one last trip together. And so they set out on a turbulent, emotional road trip across the city. With plenty of dark humour and a great soundtrack, the film is about what is really important in life: to live life. This film is being presented in collaboration with the IFI International Programme of the Irish Film Institute as part of Zeitgeist Ireland 24, an initiative of Culture Ireland and the Irish Embassy in Germany.
