The short movie program Stoffwechselgeschichten (Stories of Metabolism) offers documentary, acting and animated ways of dealing with present-day life situations. Staging and reality meet – everything is real and provides a thoughtful view on life. A protagonist who is terribly tired in the midst of the hustle and bustle of daily life. Abandoned places, that are kept in business for diverse reasons. A cinematic encounter between a Spanish director and his farming parents. This short movie program comes across as devout and gentle, sometimes thoughtful and other times stirring. This rather poetical program is composed by Spanish, Irish, Albanian and German filmmakers.
