One continent, many countries, many cultures, countless stories. This is Europe. A place full of cohesion and a place of many contrasts. Migration and deportation, good education and lack of education, tolerance and pressure to adapt, modernity and tradition. The filmmakers of this short film programme take up these themes and more. They show us stories that we may not have known before, or that we are aware of but often do not want to occupy ourselves with further. Stories with everyday heroes and stories with people who, just going about their work, unintentionally become villains. But above all, they show us one thing: this is our Europe.
