Frances Ward, a passionate seaweed enthusiast, decides to leave her previous life behind to start a seaweed farm on the west coast of Canada. SEND KELP! accompanies her on her courageous journey to establish one of the first farms of its kind in British Columbia. Director's Biography:Blake McWilliam is a Canadian director and producer known for his award-winning work at festivals such as Sundance and Tribeca. He made his documentary film debut with SEND KELP! His films are characterized by strong visual and emotional narratives.
