17-year-old Sophia, the best player in a queer volleyball team, has just been discovered by a coach and is about to make a career leap. Shortly before the decisive final match, however, she discovers that she is pregnant. She desperately tries to get an abortion - forbidden in Brazil. When Sophia tries to find a clinic, she is put under pressure by a fundamentalist religious group. Nevertheless, she wants to take her life into her own hands and does not give up. She is supported by her single father, her team and the woman she loves.

Director's Biography:Lillah Hallah born 1981 in Brazil, studied at EICTV in Cuba, then researched experimental cinema in Canada, lives in Berlin. Her main focus is on human rights, feminism and queer cinema. Power Alley is her first feature film.
