Paulina is intelligent, beautiful and white. Shortly before she finishes her law degree, she puts an end to her privileged life in Buenes Aires. Against the will of her father and fiancé, Paulina takes on a job as a teacher for political education in the deepest province. Already after two weeks the inconceivable happens. The original title of this gripping social thriller can be translated ”The Gang”. However, the courageous woman with her humanistic ideals is clearly the focal point. The conflict between the indigenous underclass and the European-born upper class can be seen in her destiny. The men of different background are united in their destructive machismo.
