1946. Sun-baked Andalusia. 12-year old Chanie, son of poverty-stricken peasants, is on the run from their all-powerful patron whose brutal henchmen torture and murder in order to catch him. Director's Biography:Benito Zambrano, born 1965 in Spain, studied dramaturgy in Sevilla and film at the illustrious Academy of Film and TV (EICTV) in Havana. Before directing his own movies, he worked as cinematographer. Since 1999, he is known as outstanding film director.
