1946. Sun-baked Andalusia. 12-year old Chanie, son of poverty-stricken peasants, is on the run from their all-powerful patron whose brutal henchmen torture and murder in order to catch him. The distrustful and traumatized boy meets Moro, a former soldier and now wandering shepherd, and for the first time in his life, he trusts someone enough to share his terrible secret. But the patron and his men are relentless in their pursuit. At an abandoned railway stop, they force the desperate fugitives into a grim fight for life or death. A coming-of-age story told like an Italo-Western. Thrilling, full of action, and moving.
