The film tells of the life of Olfa, a Tunisian woman and mother of four teenage daughters, two of whom she lost to IS. For this intimate journey into the family history, the director uses a special form. In play scenes, experienced events - some of them traumatic - are re-enacted. In addition to the real people, professional actresses are also involved. The story revolves around hope, rebellion, violence and the relationship between the sisters themselves and their mother. Director Kaouther Ben Hania views the way she works in her film as a therapeutic laboratory in which memories are retrieved and processed.
