A full-on gangster drama which enriches a genre full of classics by a new variety. Two competing organisations are fighting for supremacy in Great Britain. In spite of negotiations everything seems to be going wrong. Do all the participants really want the same thing and what is in fact at stake? And then Gustave, the unrivalled serial killer, appears on stage. In his second full feature film, director Steven Nesbit stages a network of characters which is shaped by a fateful plot and so heads unavoidably towards tragedy. The whole story is decorated with a portion of black humour and a pinch of classic Shakespearean drama.
