Baran has been transferred, to be head of police, to a small lawless village on the borders of Iran, Turkey and Iraq, where drug, medication and alcohol trafficking is rife. He refuses to bow to Aga Azzi, whose gang controls the whole area. However, he finds an ally in his fight in the young female school teacher, Govend.

Hiner Saleem
Born 1964 in Acna, Kurdistan, northern part of Iraq. At the age of 17 escape to Italy. Studied politics. Lives as director, painter and writer in Paris. Both, audience and critics were enthusiastic about his tragicomedy WODKA LEMON in 2003.
