A look in the mirror often reveals more than we would like. Can we accept ourselves as we are? Does the body match the soul? And what if it doesn't? For some, the path to self-acceptance and self-love is more difficult than for others. Andreas, Amelie and Patricia take on the hardships of transition so that body and soul can find a balance. In the process, they are confronted with insecurities and ghosts of their past. But they know what is right for them and that this is the only way to find themselves. Close, intense and open, the film provides answers to questions about transitioning that most people know little or nothing about.

Director's Biography:Clarissa Eysell studied television journalism at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH, from which she graduated in 2023 with her thesis MY BODY, MY SOUL, a feature-length documentary.
