The search for self-acceptance and self-love is an intimate process. It means entering into an inner dialog with oneself. Andreas, Amelie and Patricia were forced into this introspection by their bodies. Accepting themselves as they are is difficult, because there are often shadows from the past and insecurities about the medical transition. But one thing is clear to all of them: it helps them to live their dream as Andreas, Amelie and Patricia.

Director's Biography:Clarissa Eysell studied television journalism at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH, from which she graduated in 2023 with her thesis MY BODY, MY SOUL, a feature-length documentary.
