Once again this year, 10 outstanding European debut and second films will be competing for our two main prizes: The audience award "Der Heinrich" and the jury award "Volkswagen Financial Services Award". Both prizes, each worth 10,000 euros, are sponsored by Volkswagen Financial Services. It's all about living life to the fullest: Ines immerses herself in someone else's life in Japan. Jan, a Dutchman, is tired of life, young Moses experiences everyday gang life on Mayotte, and a fun-loving nun discovers soccer. The public awards ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, at the State Theater. Both winning films will be shown on Sunday at the ASTOR Filmtheater.
