MA FOLIE is a psychologically complex stalker thriller which develops a subtle from-love-to-hate scenario. A. Mračnikar, who studied at the Vienna Film Academy under Michael Haneke, won the 2015 First Steps Awards with MA FOLIE. Hanna and Yann get to know each other in Paris. Hanna loves Yann`s poetic short films which he sends her on via I-Phone. When she goes back to Vienna and Yann follows her there and then. A wonderful relationship begins but then Yann`s extreme jealousy comes to light. He leaves her but he doesn`t leave her alone. His video-messages become a threat. What was just before a relationship of love now becomes a relationship of fear.
