Vocal virtuoso, songwriter and R&B superstar Luther Vandross died in 2005. He was only 54 years old. In LUTHER: NEVER TOO MUCH, he tells his very personal story by means of a wealth of rarely seen archive footage, supported by close friends and musical collaborators such as Mariah Carey, Dionne Warwick, Marcus Miller, Valerie Simpson and Roberta Flack. The film relives the many breathtaking moments in the musical career of the winner of multiple Grammy awards, but also shows the darker side of fame, such as health problems caused by extreme weight changes, and Luther’s lifelong fight to gain respect for his musical achievements.
