While Lydia is in the middle of closing up her father`s shop, she is threatened at gun point by a drug addict. The planned robbery gets out of control and in the course of the action she is taken hostage. The director of this psycho-thriller comes herself from the community of the Mohawk, a North American Indian tribe. According to her own admission, she wanted to write a story with a strong indigenous woman, a drama which offers both suspense as well as social aspects. The claustrophobic setting was born out of necessity: in view of financial restrictions the film was shot in a single location - which definitely adds to the tension.
