The laudatory speech for Sebastian Koch will be given by jazz trumpeter Till Brönner.

Till Brönner studied jazz trumpet at the Cologne University of Music. With five Echos and a Grammy nomination, he is without doubt one of the most influential musicians. He has played with international jazz musicians and written soundtracks for the documentaries JAZZ SEEN about the American jazz and fashion photographer William Claxton and HÖLLENTOUR by Pepe Danquart. Since 2009 Brönner is professor at the University of music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. Inspired by William Claxton and connected by a personal friendship, Till Brönner has also discovered his passion for photography.
