A man, between wife and lover - an explosive state which makes reality blur more and more into comic absurdity. On the outside an intact family life with wife and child - however, the relationship is stuck in a groove. It seems easier for the man to hide behind this façade than look the truth in the eye. Being torn back and forth between several sexual relationships aggravates his situation. Life on the edge of the mental abyss leaves its traces - reality and illusion merge. The first cinema film of the visual artist Jaan Toomik takes up themes from his art: sexuality and death, dream versus reality, alienation.
