Curious things happen on an old estate in Kreisau in Lower Silesia:  a group of teenagers from France, Germany and Poland arrive together with their grandmothers. In a minimum of time a traditional dish is meant to be served that will astound the opponent. A marvellous story about early summer.

Gordian Maugg
Born in Heidelberg 1966, now living in Berlin. Free-lance author of screenplays, director and producer since 1986. Studied “Visual Communication” at Kassel art school with emphasis on film and television under the auspices of Manfred Vosz. In the same year he received the silver “Filmband” for DER OLYMPISCHE SOMMER. Founded the Gordian Maugg Filmproduction Ltd. in 1994 and was one of the founders of the German Film Academy. Scholarship of the “Stiftung Kulturfonds” Berlin/Ahrenshoop in 1998, visiting professor at the Hamburg Media School and at Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences. In 2000, his film HANS WARNS – MEIN 20. JAHRHUNDERT won the gold “Filmband” of the German film prize for best editing.
