The film takes place between 1960 and 1964. The organizer of the Holocaust, Adolf Eichmann, has been abducted to Israel by the Israeli secret police. Hannah Arendt, working for “The New Yorker”, reports on the trial in Jerusalem and coins the famous phrase “banality of evil”. The film won several awards.
