Summer 94, the orphan boys are making life difficult for the nuns in El Parral. To supervise them, the nun Marina (Carmen Machi) comes to the order's house. Slowly, she cracks the shell of the gang - with the help of a football. She prevails against all odds, organises the necessary equipment and forms a team with a lot of wit, heart and understanding. The film sounds like a modern fairy tale and also tells a true story: footballer Valmiro Lopes (Valdo) was discovered in one of the games. In 2004, he showed the world his story: while celebrating a goal in Spain's top league, he lifted his jersey and presented his shirt with the inscription "Gracias hermana Marina". Director's Biography:Roberto Bueso, *1981, began his second degree in screenwriting (FIA) in 2007 after completing his philosophy degree to combine his two passions - writing and film. In 2014 he also successfully completed his studies in directing at the EACM, Madrid.
