Two young Polish families, well acquainted with each other, as usual spend a long weekend in May on the idyllic Danish island of Bornholm. But when a disastrous incident occurs between their children, a crisis develops in their relationships with each other. The planned holiday together unexpectedly turns into pure hell. FUCKING BORNHOLM is a mixture of bitter comedy and psychological drama about the generation of today's 40-year-olds. From a female perspective, the pitfalls of raising children as well as partnership disputes and mid-life crises are convincingly portrayed.

Director's Biography:Anna Kazejak, born 1979 in Bytom, Poland, studied at the Film Academy in Łódź. After several award-winning short films, she participated in the Berlinale in 2014 with OBIETNICA. FUCKING BORNHOLM premiered internationally in Karlovy Vary this year.
