The father Eliezer and his son Uriel Shkolnik are scholars of the Talmud: The senior is a veteran , did not publish many significant works (at least not officially) but every year he hopes to be awarded with the Israel Prize. Junior, on the other hand, is the discipline’s rising star who, actually, will be awarded with said prize. But the committee made a big mistake in calling his father instead in order to deliver the good news ... A sardonic comedy of mistaken identity that quickly becomes a melancholy drama about grand delusions and self-perception, which, at times, develops very particular comedic expressions on its own. Israel’s nominee for the Oscars 2011.
