A performance trio is allowed to live and work at the Sonic Catering Institute for four weeks. But soon conflicts arise within the collective and with the director of this artist residence for "culinary art". The story is told from the perspective of a Greek journalist with gastrointestinal problems. Peter Strickland's current feature film is a perceptive reflection on the inflations of an encapsulated art business, but above all a "stylistically sophisticated comedy". (FILMDIENST). Strickland is a member of the Sonic Catering Band, which creates complex electronic soundscapes from food. His work to date culminates in this absurd feast for the senses.
