Films from Haute-Normandie

The International Filmfestival Braunschweig and the northern French movie foundation Pôle Image promote the movie-cultural exchange between the partner regions of Lower Saxony and Upper Normandy for 14 years. Some years ago, the youth cinema project KINEMA has joined this endeavor as a third partner. At the 29th International Filmfestival Braunschweig, Pôle Image now presents the feature film EINE MUTTER by the French director Christine Carrière and for the prelude: the short movie DER MANN MEINES LEBENS by Mélanie Delloye. The Filmfestival has been a guest at the festival “Fotokino“ in Rouen in March 2015 and presented the feature film NENA by Saskia Diesing. For the ninth time, the Franco-German youth award »Kinema« will be awarded by a six-member jury of German and French students in the ages of 16-21. The movie-cultural exchange between Lower Saxony and Upper Normandy is supported by the state of Lower Saxony, the Franco-German Youth Office, the region Upper-Normandy, the movie foundation Pôle Image and Antenne Métropole of the metropolitan area of Hanover, Braunschweig, Göttingen and Wolfsburg.
