This is not how Sofia had imagined the summer: holidaying with grandma instead of camping with the clique. Together they visit great-aunt Luce, who lives on the Croatian island of Hvar. The twelve-year-old knows nobody here. There is no proper internet, either - but there are two older women who talk about the past. "My life is hell," Sofia curses. But then everything starts to change: she experiences days full of adventures, kisses a boy for the first time and uncovers a long-kept secret. "I wanted to tell young people that they shouldn't be in a hurry to grow up," says the director about his beautifully light, summery youth film.
