Marco lost his wife three years ago on a mountaineer expedition; her body was never recovered. Now family friend, Lidija, helps him raise his 11-year-old daughter Marija. He refuses to accept his wife's death and believes in the return of his loved wife. Month after month mysterious letters arrive, allegedly written by Marko's missing wife, and an unexpected twist in events reveals that Marko knows a lot more about his missing wife's fate than what he has acknowledged so far...

Goran Rukavina
Born 1970 in Virovitica, graduated in film and tv at the Academy of Performing Arts , Zagreb. Member of the Croatian Film Directors Union. He made several tv-serials and short films. He specialized himself in post-production. 2007 he won the Golden Arena for VFX at the Pula Film Festival. Goran Rukavina is one of the young croatian voices.
CHILDREN OF THE FALL which he presents at the Filmfest Braunschweig is his first feature film.
