Twelve-year-old Binti dreams of becoming a famous vlogger. When the police try to deport her and her father, the two have to flee. On their escape, they meet okapi rescuer Elias and are taken in by him and his mother. The two youngsters quickly devise the perfect plan so that Binti and her father can stay in Belgium. The problem of illegal immigration is approached in a light and understandable way for a young audience - and sometimes even fairy tales come true. Director's Biography:Born in 1985, director, author and actress Frederike Migom first studied acting and worked in New York and Paris. She has been living and working in Brussels as a director since 2011. BINTI is her feature film debut.
